In this action, bars made of translucent paper are held by hand over various locations in Antarctica. The Antarctic context is temporarily protected by the policies of the Antarctic Treaty, which define it as an environment for peace and science. However, beyond the human activity on the continent itself, Antarctic ecosystems are extremely vulnerable to anthropogenic impacts occurring across the entire planet.
